This New York gay bar is hot, alluring, and chic. G Lounge is calling out to all you pretty boys in Chelsea (you know who you are) to cum (oops, we meant come) and sip the amazing Frozen Cosmopolitan. Trust us, this drink is almost life altering, as is a night spent at G Lounge. You will experience all of the glamour that New York has to offer in one of the city's sexiest gay bars. Models, artists, successful professionals and cute college boys come together at G.
Even the music makes you feel cool, because the DJs really know how to keep the crowd happy. The staff is beyond gorgeous - if nothing else, it is worth the trip alone just to talk to the flirtatiously sexy bartenders. Similarly, the clientele is sociable and fabulous, because everyone is looking to meet new friends. And this gay bar prides itself on customer service. It is refreshing to hang out in such swanky digs that are free of attitude and a cover charge.
And the bar's recent redesign is nothing short of stunning. The sleek ambiance creates an atmosphere that is approachable and striking. It is easy to see why this delicate balance is appreciated by the clientele. Beautiful boys can be seen snuggling up on sultry persimmon sofas while cocktailing on some of the hottest drinks in New York City - we suggest the Peach Nip or the Carmel Appletini. And to make things even better, this gay hotspot has Happy Hour Specials that run on weeknights from 4 - 9.
On alternating Thursdays, G Lounge plays host to uber chic go go dancers with serious panache. These hotties are gorgeous; so dress fashion forward and maybe you will get to enact your most decadent fantasies later in the evening. This gay bar is fierce, fresh, and fun!
Hip place - it's a nice place to meet friends for low-key drinks (no dancing or craziness - just a hip neighborhood lounge / bar).. overall - just a great place to start the night - the crowd is 40 and under.. By: Alex on February 26, 2009
Hip Lounge - kind of the see and be seen crowd
G Lounge is pretty cool.. hip guys - but for as chic as the place is - there isn't a lot of attitude. I just moved here a year ago - and only went for the first time a few months ago - but I've been back a few times since. Nice place for starting out the night. By: Julian on February 11, 2008
